Come join us for a brief kickoff of the week long San Diego Startup Week Idea Competition. Learn about the competition and how you can get involved. We will put a few people on the spot and give them 2 minutes to pitch the crowd. Sync with other attendees and join the Ideator community to see which ideas drive the most excitement.

Share your idea with the Startup Week Community. We will choose the top five ideas to get a chance to present in front of a high profile panel. And compete to win a cool $1K.

When

Now! Start filling in your details on the Ideator platform. Share your idea to get feedback from friends. And share it publicly. We will stop accepting ideas on Wednesday June 17th @ 5:00PM PST. We will announce the finalists two hours later.

Where

Complete your idea on the Ideator platform. We will be hosting a few Startup Week events, including the final pitch-off where the best ideas win an opportunity to pitch to our world-class panelists. We will keep you posted as our plans are solidified.

When you are ready for us to review your idea, invite startupweek@ideator.com to your team.

Submissions close on Wednesday, June 17th at 5PM PDT. Please don’t wait to the last minute. The earlier you make your submission, the more time we will have to review it. You can always make changes and seek feedback from others on the platform after you submit to us. We actually encourage this. Drive hype around your idea and get noticed.

We will announce the finalists on Wednesday, June 17th at 7PM PDT.

The 5 top finalists will have a chance to present their ideas to an amazing panel of successful entrepreneurs. Each finalist will have 5 minutes to present (Thursday, June 19th at 3PM PDT) with 5 minutes for feedback from the panelists.

1st Prize – $1000 cash and 4 hours of advisory services with the Ideator team

2nd Prize – $500 cash and 2 hours of advisory services with the Ideator team

3rd Prize – $250 cash and 2 hours of advisory services with the Ideator team
